About Me

I am 27 and come from Sydney, Australia. I am currently a private property developer, but in my spare time I love spending it reading books, checking for the latest news on Autospies, and getting together cars and reviewing them. In 1997 I bought a Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but I gave it up in 2000 and bought a ML 430 instead. Loved the ML, but needed to go for something a bit more executive. In 2002, I bought a black BMW 745Li, optioned out. My favorite accessory were the alloy wheels - the 5 star star spoke ones. In 2005, I was one of the first people in the country to have the new 7-Series - I got a 740Li with the same alloys and options as my last one. In 2007, I bought 3 cars. I decided to trade in the 7 Series and grab my hands on a Mercedes-Benz S500 (a dealer special 'S55' AMG one), and also bought an M6 convertible and the new X5. In 2008, I bought a Lexus LS460 L, have ordered the new BMW X6 and I am heavily tempted to swap my M6 for an Aston Martin. Through my years as an interested car enthusiast, I have driven plenty of cars. Here I rate the best and worst:
BEST
BMW 7 Series ... as much as it is as nice to look at as a dogs face, it still is very good
Mercedes S Class ... better than the 7 Series, by a long way
Lexus LS ... Now you may be getting bored of large luxury saloons
Holden Calais ... as good as a 3 Series or a C Class or an A4
Ford Focus .. the new one is great
Honda Accord Euro (Acura TSX) ... one fine car that can stand up to the C-Class, 3 Series or A4 any day
Cadillac CTS ... When I was in LA I was lucky enough to try one of these - brilliant
WORST
Every single Ssangyong ... their designers are inspired by a dog turd
Mercedes GLK ... ugly ugly ugly ugly ugly (I haven't driven one yet but I know it will suck)
Lexus ES ... the most pointless car ... ever
Mercedes CLS ... easy on the eyes
Porsche Cayenne ... for middle aged men having mid life crisis'
